I had a borrowed iPhone 4 on the weekend to see if it was the right phone for me. One of the things I am interested about with this phone is the abilty to shoot and edit video right on the device. I have been looking for a streamlined workflow for captureing community stories, conference footage etc.

As a test I shot a movie while making dinner. The edit was done apres dinner, while I lounged on the couch. Total edit time was around 25 minutes. Raw footage shot was around 8 minutes or so with a handful of HDR still in the mix.

I can't speak to the upload time yet as I had to give the phone back and the owner (thanks Chris) had to do the off load / upload for me.
