The cold weather is a little more bearable now that I can see myself swooshing through the trees on the sawmill trails

I was waiting to get picked up at the hotel so I tossed together a quick video. Shot on the iPhone 4. Edited with Splice, a 99 cent app. A good editing workflow and easy to pick up Shortfall: titles... for e.g. you can not place titles over photos or video which is an important feature.

The maps were screen capped on the phone using the GPS to show location (blue halo) and the Maps search feature to place the Hotel name title on the shot.

The audio backing track was a default in the app. Before I found the splice audio library I had recorded a 40 Sec clip of ambient conference hall music and background chatter.

There were a variety transition options in application. I chose to stick with the same cross fade to keep things simple. Just because they give you 8 options doesn't
mean you have to throw them all in your project.
